Dit is waarschijnlijk een van mijn laatste kerstkaarten voor dit jaar. Ik heb een aperture/easel kaart gemaakt. Aperturecard is de challenge bij Cute Card Thursday en een easelcard is de challenge bij Create4fun. Ik heb de sketch van Stamp with fun gebruikt. Ik vind deze sneeuwbol erg leuk hoewel ik hem niet veel gebruikt heb. De challenge van Our Creative Corner is 'let it snow' dus ik heb mijn sneeuwvlokpons gebruikt om wat sneeuwvlokken te maken. Tot slotte heb ik de stempel Merry & Bright er een kerstkaart van gemaakt en 'Merry Christmas' is de challenge van Simon Says Stamp challenge blog.


This is probably one of my last Christmascards for this year. I've made an aperture/easel card. Aperture card is the challenge at Cute Card Thursday and an easelcard is the challenge at Create4fun. I've used the sketch from Stamp with fun. I love this little snowglobe although I haven't used it a lot. The challenge at Our Creative Corner is 'let it snow' so I've used my snowpunch for the snowflakes. And finally I've used the Merry & Bright stamp and 'Merry Christmas' is the challenge at Simon Says Stamp challenge blog.

Little present

Dit kleine cadeautje (dat is de challenge van Stamp with fun) is voor mijn zus Berniek die op dit moment in Canada zit (hier is haar blog). Ze blijft er voor minstens een half jaar in Whistler. Ze werkt er in een hotel en kan veel skieen en veel van de Olympische Spelen meekrijgen!
Ik heb een andere verpakking om het cadeautje gemaakt omdat het echte doosje te dik was. Het zou dan als pakketpost verzonden moeten worden en nu kan het gewoon in een envelop. De challenge van Double Dutch is 'it's all about the wrapping'.


This little present (that's the challenge at Stamp with fun) is for my sister Berniek who is in Canada at the moment (here is her blog). She is staying there for at least a half year in Whistler. She's working in a hotel there and can ski a lot of time and see all the Olympic events!
I've made an other wrapping around the gift because the real box was too big. I should have send it as a package and right now I can send it in an envelope. The challenge at Double Dutch is 'it's all about the wrapping'.

Dit is mijn kaart voor de Everybody Art Challenge. De challenge is 'red/green'. Ik heb 27 van deze kaarten gemaakt voor de kinderen van mijn klas. Ze kunnen het ergens ophangen als ze dat leuk vinden. Ik vind deze kleine bedeltjes erg leuk. Op de achterkant staat de tekst 'made with love'. Micro challenge

Bij Caardvarks hebben ze een micro color challenge. Je hebt maar 24 uur voor deze challenge en we hebben tot middernacht. Je ziet een heleboel kerstbomen op mijn kaart en dat is de challenge bij The Secret Crafter. Ik heb de sketch van Dutch Card Lovers gebruikt. Zoals je ziet heb ik de doily lace pons gebruikt. Ik heb het gekregen van Sandra als Sinterklaascadeau. Bedankt zus!


At Caardvarks the have a micro color challenge. You only have 24 hours for this challenge and we have till midnight. There are a lot of christmastrees on my card and that's the challenge at The Secret Crafter. I've used the sketch from Dutch Card Lovers. As you can see I have used the doily lace punch. I've got it from Sandra as a Sinterklaas present. Thanks sis!

Alweer een leuke nieuwe challenge bij Everybody Art Challenge! Het is 'Christmas' en wie heeft er nou niet nog een kerstkaart nodig? Ik denk dat wel veel inzendingen krijgen deze week!!

Ik heb de sketch gebruikt van Friday Sketchers. Voor het sneeuweffect heb ik een Puffy Velvet pen gebruikt. Je kunt het makkelijk op je afbeelding verven en daarna moet je het verhitten. Het werkte helemaal niet zoals ik had gepland. Ik denk dat ik het wel 10 minuten heb verwarmd voordat het eindelijk begon te 'puffen'! (Nu ik dit schrijf lees ik op de pen dat je de inkt eerst moet laten drogen voordat je het verwarmt... haha) Ik vind het resultaat wel mooi geworden.
De challenge van Colour Create Challenge is om de kleuren 'groen, rood en wit' te gebruiken. Echte kerstkleuren!

I've used the sketch from Friday Sketchers. For the snow I've used a Puffy Velvet pen. You can easily paint it on your image and then you have to heat it. It didn't worked at all. I think I've heated it for at least 10 minutes before it start puffing! (When I'm writing this I read on the pen that you have to let the ink dry first before heating... haha) I like the result though.
The challenge from Colour Create Challenge is to use the colors 'green, red and white'. Real christmascolors!

Adventsboom

Deze 'Adventsboom' heb ik gekocht op de StempelMekka. Ik heb hem helemaal met papier bekleed en de zijkanten geverfd. Ik heb al een heleboel mooie Adventscreaties gezien bij Stamp with fun. Deze past er zo tussen. Ik heb erg lang getwijfeld hoe ik de nummers zou maken en uiteindelijk heb ik voor de cirkels gekozen. Deze komen ook weer terug in het papier. Cirkels is de challenge bij Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps Challenge Blog.


I bought this Christmascalender at the StempelMekka. I've decorated it totally with designpaper and I've painted the sides. I've already seen a lot of beautiful Christmascalenders at Stamp with fun. Mine will fit between them. I've doubt a long time how I would make the numbers and finally I decided to use circels. There are also circels on the papers. Er is een leuke challenge bij Our Creative Corner. Je moet een kaart maken geinspireerd door deze tekening.

Ik had geluk want ik heb een stempel dat hierop lijkt. Het heeft een tekst maar ik heb alleen de lijnen gestempeld want ik wilde er een kerstkaart van maken.
Bij BasicGrey Challenges is de challenge 'glitz and bling'. Ik heb mijn eigen glitter gemaakt door witte en groene glitter te mengen. 'Glitter me Silly' is de challenge van Cute Card Thursday. De sketch dat ik heb gebruikt is van Friday Sketchers.


Lucky me, I have a stamp like this! It has a sentiment on it but I stamped only the postcardlines because I wanted to make a christmascard.

Merry & Bright

Ik hou van glitter hoewel ik het niet vaak gebruik. Op de een of andere manier kom ik dagen erna overal nog glitter tegen... Maar 'glitter me silly' is de challenge bij Cute Card Thursday, dus moest ik het nu wel gebruiken. Ik heb de Hero Arts tekst gestempeld met witte inkt. Daarna ben ik eroverheen gegaan met lijm en heb de glitter erop geplakt. Ik maakte me een beetje zorgen of je de tekst nog kon lezen maar dat is goed gegaan.
Ik vind het erg leuk om deze ronde kaarten te gebruiken (het is ook de challenge van Caardvarks). Ik heb dit papier gekocht op de StempelMekka. Met mijn nestabilitie heb ik er een cirkel uitgehaald. Ik heb ook een cirkel uit doorzichtig folie gehaald en aan de binnenkant van de kaart geplakt. Acetate is de challenge bij Crazy 4 Challenges. Ik heb er wat sneeuwvlokken op gestempeld met wit inkt. De cirkel van doorzichtig folie heb ik met hele kleine gluedots geplakt (1mm), ze zijn bijna onzichtbaar.
De sketch is van Stamp with fun. De sketch is eigenlijk voor een vierkante kaart. Ik heb alleen de kleuren blauw, wit en zilver gebruikt en dat is de challenge bij Colour Create Challenge. De sneeuwsterren die ik op de kaart geplakt heb zijn van vilt en dat is weer de challenge van Dutch Dare Card Challenges.



I love glitter although I don't use it a lot. Somehow I always find the glitter everywhere days after I used it... But 'glitter me silly' is the challenge at Cute Card Thursday, so I had to use it. I've stamped the Hero Arts sentiment first with white ink and after that I put glue on it and sprinkled the glitter. I was a little bit worried if you could still read the sentiment afterwards but it went ok!
I like to use these round cards (it's also the challenge at Caardvarks). I've bought these papers on the StempelMekka. I've made the circle with a nestabilitie. I also made a scaloped circle out of acetate to glue it inside the card. Acetate is a challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges. I've inked some snowflakes on it with white ink. I've glued the acetate circle in the card with very tiny gluedots (1mm), they are almost invisible.
The sketch is from Stamp with fun. The sketch is for a square card but I've turned it into a round one. I've used only blue, white and silver colors and that's the challenge at Colour Create Challenge. The snowflakes that I've glued on top of the card are from felt, that's the challenge at Dutch Dare Card Challenges.

Easel card

Ik wist niet wat een easel kaart was totdat ik een paar hele mooie op verschillende blogs zag. Dit is de eerste die ik maak. Er zijn twee challenge blogs die 'easel cards' als challenge hebben; Crazy 4 Challenges (een nieuwe challenge blog dat ik vandaag heb ontdekt) en The Secret Crafter. Ik heb de kaart gedistressed met mijn edge distresser van Heidi Snapp. Bij Just Magnolia is de challenge 'distressing'. De swirls zijn van vilt en heb ik gemaakt met mijn nestabilities. Vilt is de challenge bij Dutch Dare Card Challenges. Om de kaart te maken heb ik de sketch van Create4fun gebruikt.

I didn't knew what an easel card was till I saw some beautiful ones on several blogs. This is the first one I made. There are two challenge blogs that have 'easel cards' as a challenge; Crazy 4 Challenges (a new challenge blog I found today) and The Secret Crafter. I've distressed the card with my edge distresser from Heidi Snapp. At Just Magnolia the challenge is 'distressing'. The swirls are from felt and I've made them with my nestabilities. Felt is the challenge at Dutch Dare Card Challenges. To make this card I've used the sketch from Create4fun.

Please Mister Postman

Please Mister Postman is een nummer van de Beatles. De challenge bij Penny Black Saturday Challenge is 'songtitle/lyric'. Ik denk dat dit nummer perfect past bij deze stempel. Ik heb alleen primaire kleuren gebruikt. Dat is challenge bij Cute Card Thursday. Het was best lastig, normaal gebruik ik deze combinatie van kleuren niet. Ik vind het wel mooi geworden. De sketch is van The Fresh Batch.


Please Mister Postman is a song from the Beatles. The challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge is 'songtitle/lyric'. I think this song is perfect for this stamp. I've used only primary colors. That's the challenge at Cute Card Thursday. It was really difficult, normally I don't use that combination of colors. But I think it turned out well. And the sketch is from The Fresh Batch.

Ik heb geweldig nieuws! Het Design Team van Everybody Art Challenge heeft mij gekozen als een van de nieuwe Design Team leden! Is dat niet super? Dit is mijn eerste kaart als lid. De challenge voor deze week is 'distressing'.
Ik heb een van mijn Scrapmagasinet stempels gebruikt die ik heb ingekleurd met Twinkling H2O's. De tekststempel heb ik gekregen, ik weet niet van welk merk het is.


I have some exciting news! The DT members from Everybody Art Challenge have chosen me as one of their new DT members! Isn't that great? This is my first card as a member for them. The challenge is this week 'distressing'.
I've used one of my Scrapmagasinet stamps that I've coloured with Twinkling H2O's. The sentimentstamp was a gift, I don't know the brand.
