Op de Stempeltreff Blog zag ik een leuke sketch #4. Eerst dacht ik dat het niet al te moeilijk zou zijn maar toen ik wilde beginnen moest ik toch even flink nadenken voordat ik een leuk idee had. Uiteindelijk heb ik een kaart gemaakt met de sketch en het idee van een echte Nederlandse kaart. Ik heb namelijk een collega die elk moment terugkomt na een paar heerlijke weken in Nieuw-Zeeland. Het leek me een leuk idee om een kaart voor haar te maken in de Nederlandse kleuren; rood, wit en blauw. Dat is in ieder geval gelukt ;) LOL


On the Stempeltreff Blog I saw a nice sketch #4. I first thought it wouldn't be very difficult but when I wanted to start with it, I had to think hard to find a nice idea. Finally I made a card with the sketch and the thought of a Dutch-card. I have a colleague who will come back soon after some nice weeks of holiday in New-Zealand. I thought it would be nice to make a card for her in the colors. The colors from the Netherlands are red, white and blue. Well, for that I've done a great job ;) LOL

I won!!!!

I just looked at my blog to see if someone posted a comment, I do that a few times a day ;) LOL. And there I saw a comment from Kristine. She wrote that the winner was announced on her blog and she winked me... so I went to her blog right away... and yes, I've won her candy challenge!!!!!

I'm so excited! I'm sure everybody loves to win things and I can tell you now; this feels so good :D

On the photo you can see the candy I won. And yes it is a MAGGIE!!! Very cute buttons and flowers.

If friends were flowers...

Op de Craft and Waffle blog zag ik een hele leuke challenge. Je kunt geweldige candy winnen als je binnen de UK woont. Gelukkig voor mij geeft Lynn ook een hele leuke Tilda stempel aan iemand buiten de UK. Het is een geweldige Magnolia stempel die ze weg gaat geven! Check haar blog!

Je moet een kaart maken met het thema 'friend'. De kaart die ik gemaakt heb is erg roze (echt mijn kleur!) en misschien vind ik hem daarom ook wel erg leuk!


On the Craft and Waffle blog I saw a nice challenge. You can win a lot of great candy if you live in the UK. Lucky for me Lynn gives also something very cute Tilda stamp to someone outside the UK. It's a great Magnolia stamp that she is giving away! Check out her blog!

You have to make a card with a 'friend' theme. The card I've made is very pink (my kinda color!) and maybe that's why I like it very much!

Wishing You Well!

Gisteren had ik een gezellige stempelmiddag met mijn moeder en zus. We hadden al onze spullen meegenomen naar mijn moeders huis en hebben mooie kaarten gemaakt. Een tante kwam ook nog even langs om te kijken wat we aan het doen waren en heeft een ook een kaart gemaakt. We hebben het erg gezellig gehad.

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor de Tilda & Co Challenge #8. Je moet een Wishing You Well kaart maken. De Tilda die ik gebruikt heb is van mijn zus en ik het het broekje ge-paper-pieced.


Yesterday I had a great stamp-afternoon with my mum and sister. We took al the stuff we had to my mothers house and did some great stampwork. An aunt came also to see what we were doing and made a card herself. We had a great time.

This card I've made for the Tilda & Co Challenge #8. You had to make a Wishing You Well card! I've used a Tilda from my sister and paper pieced her pants.

Dit is de tweede kaart die ik gemaakt heb. Het is voor de Ismaki Sketch #8. Het was een leuke sketch om mee te werken!

Crafty B Candy Challenge

Ik kijk op veel blogs op zoek naar mooie kaarten, sketches, ideeën etc. Zo kwam ik ook op de blog van Crafty B. Ze is een nieuwe blogger, net zoals ik :) en ze heeft nu al een blog candy! Je moet een kaart maken met iets roods en schattigs, niet erg moeilijk dus! Ik heb deze kaart gemaakt met een schattige Tilda en prachtig papier van Basicgrey waar rood in zit.


I search on many blogs to look for nice cards, sketches, ideas etc. On my search I came on Crafty B's Blog. She is a new blogger, like me :) and she already has a blog candy! You have to make a card with something red and cute, that's not very difficult! I made this card with a cute Tilda and some lovely paper from Basicgrey with red in it.

Kristine's Candy Challenge

Ik heb meer dan 1000 bezoekers!!!! Ik ben daar zo blij mee! Bedankt voor het bezoeken van mijn blog! Dat vind ik echt ontzettend leuk!

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor de Kristine's Candy Challenge. Ik zag dat iemand anders had meegedaan aan deze challenge en op die manier kwam ik op deze blog. Kristine's blog is echt heel mooi. Ze maakt ook de binnen- en achterkant van de kaart prachtig. Een geweldig idee!

Voor de challenge moet je een kaart maken met je favoriete stempel. Ik heb niet echt één favoriete stempel, ik heb er meerdere. Dit is er eentje van, het schaap van Magnolia. Het is zooo schattig!

Ik heb een tag gebruikt van een trui die ik laatst gekocht heb. Ook heb ik een ticket zelfgemaakt en gebruikt. Ik zie overal van die mooie tickets en ik dacht, die maak ik zelf wel. Ik heb de datum van vandaag erop gestempeld omdat mijn tante vandaag jarig is. Morgen ga ik naar haar toe en geef ik haar deze kaart.

This card I've made for the Kristine's Candy Challenge. I saw someone else entered this challenge and so I came on this blog. Kristine's blog is very nice! She makes also a nice in- and backside of a card! That's a great idea!

For the challenge you have to make a card with your favourite stamp. Well, I don't have really ONE favourite, I have severals. This is one of them. The sheep of Magnolia. It is so cute!

I used a tag from a sweater I bought and I also made a ticket myself. I see everywhere such a nice tickets and I thought, I can make that myself. I've stamped todays date on it because it's my aunts birthday today. Tomorrow I will go to the party and give her this card.

Katharina's Candy Challenge 2

Ik wilde ook nog een kaart maken voor Katharina's Candy Challenge. Mijn zus had er al eentje gemaakt en ik dacht dat ik moest opschieten maar je mag een kaart insturen tot morgen. Ik heb mijn nieuwe papier gebruikt van MakingMemories, het heet "Travel". Het is zo makkelijk als het papier perfect bij elkaar past, ik vind dat heerlijk! Onderaan heb ik het papier verbrand, het stonk verschrikkelijk maar het lijkt wel erg leuk! LOL!

I wanted to make a card also for Katharina's Candy Challenge. My sister already made one and I thought I had to hurry but you can send a card till tomorrow. I used my new paper from MakingMemories, this time I used "Travel". It's so easy when the paper fits together perfect, I love that! I burned the paper on the bottom, it smelled terrible but it looks great! LOL!

Op Monica's Blog zag ik een hele leuke kaart. Ik heb haar gevraagd hoe ze deze had gemaakt en ze reageerde meteen! Ze gaf me deze link naar blog van Pretty Pressings. Daar stond precies te lezen hoe je een'Nip and Tuck Card' moest maken. Ik heb er meteen eentje gemaakt. Het was wat lastig omdat de maten in inches waren in plaats van centimeter maar na een zoektochtje op internet vond ik een Inch-Centimeter Converter.

De kaart is voor iemand die begin maart voor haar rijexamen moet. Ik hoop dat ze in een keer slaagt!!

On Monica's Blog I saw this amazing card. I asked her how to make it and she answered right away! She gave me a link to Pretty Pressings blog. There I could see how to make a 'Nip and Tuck Card'. I've made one right away. It was a little bit difficult because it was in inches but with a search on the internet I found a Inch-Centimeter Converter.

This card is for someone who has her driving test in the beginning of March. Hope she will pass right away!

Pretty Pressings Challenge

Op de blog van Pretty Pressings zag ik een leuke challenge. Je moet een kaart maken met je favoriete kleuren. Ik moest nog steeds een kaart maken voor de verjaardag van mijn moeder (morgen) dus waarom niet eentje met kleuren die ik mooi vind? Ik vind bruin met roze of bruin met blauw erg mooi. Dit papier heeft beide! Het papier is van MakingMemories en deze keer heb ik Funky Village ~ Lizzie Collection gebruikt.

On Pretty Pressings Blog I saw this nice challenge. You have to make a card with your favourite colors. I still had to make a card for my mothers birthday (tomorrow) so why not making one with lovely colors?? I really like brown with pink or brown with blue. This card has both! Paper is from MakingMemories and this time I used Funky Village ~ Lizzie Collection.

Ismaki no. 6

Gisteren heb ik nieuw papier gekocht van MakingMemories. Ik vond de Funky Vintage ~ Ruby Collection erg mooi maar ik kon ook de Lizzie Collection en de Travel niet laten liggen dus heb ik ze alledrie maar gekocht.
Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt met de Funky Vintage. Ik heb de sketch gebruikt van de Ismaki challenge, met dit mooie papier vind ik de kaart goed gelukt!

Yesterday I bought some new paper from MakingMemories. I liked the Funky Vintage ~ Ruby Collection very much but I couldn't resist the Lizzie Collection and the Travel paper too so I bought them also.
This card is made with the Funky Vintage. I took the sketch of the Ismaki challenge, with the nice paper I think the card looks good!

Tilde & Co Challenge #6

On Tilda's blog I saw a nice challenge. You had to make a card for Mother's day and you had to use something recycled. It's a little bit early for Mother's day but It's a great challenge for me! I LIKE keeping things! I always keep ribbons, paper, magazines etc. because you never know when you can use them. Although I have lots of recycled things, I wanted something 'new' LOL. So I looked in my house for something that I liked and I found this paper bag. It is from a nice store in the Netherlands. I used the paper and I also used paper from Ikea to make the hearts.

Get Well Soon

Op een andere blog zag ik deze sketch staan, ik vond het zo leuk lijken met die rondjes dat ik het gelijk uitgeprobeerd heb. Ik vind het schaapje zooo schattig van Magnolia!!

On a blog I saw this sketch, I liked it very much with those circles that I tried it myself immediately. I like this sheep sooooo much, it's a Magnolia!!

Kimmie's Kreation Celebration Challenge #4

Hier is challenge #4! De challenge was om een Valentijnskaart of een 'liefdes'kaart te maken. De stempel die ik heb gebruikt is van American Art Stamp, ze zijn erg leuk!

And here is challenge #4! The challenge was to make a Valentine of Lovey type card. I've used a stamp from American Art Stamp, they are really cute!

Kimmie's Kreation Celebration Challenge #3

Hier ben ik weer. Ik kan geen kaart maken in minder dan een uur hoor, ik had deze onder een stapel zware boeken liggen drogen. Heb je dat ook weleens, dat je denkt dat je alles goed hebt gedaan en dat je er dan achter komt dat dat niet zo is?? Ik wacht altijd met lijmen totdat ik zeker weet dat alles goed en klaar is. Dan begin ik te lijmen. Zo deed ik het ook deze keer maar toen ik de kaart onder de stapel boeken vandaan haalde, zag ik al dat ik iets verkeerd had gedaan. Ik wilde de linten naar boven en naar beneden hebben lopen maar ik had alles al vastgelijmd... Wat nu? Ik heb de linten vastgeknoopt en op deze manier lijkt het ook leuk, toch?

Here I am again! It's not that I can make a card in less then an hour, I had this one drying under a pile of heavy books. Do you also have sometimes that you think you've done everything right, and then you realize you don't?? I always wait with the glue till I know for sure everything is ready and right. Then I start with glueing. So I did this time, and when I took the card underneath the books I saw I've made a mistake... I wanted the ribbons to go straight to the top and buttom of the card but I already glued everything together... What to do? Well, I tied the two ribbons together and this it is!!

Kimmie's Kreation Celebration Challenge #6

Ik heb een drukke stempeldag vandaag. Ik zag allemaal nieuwe challenges op verschillende sites waar ik graag aan mee wil doen. Deze kaart is weer voor een challenge van Kimmie. Ik moet de kaarten vandaag maken want je kunt meedoen tot vanavond.

Ik vind challenges echt ontzettend leuk. Het geeft je zoveel nieuwe ideeen. Misschien vind ik de reacties van meiden vanuit de hele wereld zelfs nog wel leuker! Heel erg bedankt daarvoor!!!

I've got a very busy stamp-day! I saw all these new challenges that I like. This card is for a Kimmie challenge again. I have to make them today because you can send them in till tonight.

I really like challenges, it gives me so much inspiration. And maybe I like even more all the reactions that I get from girls all over the world!! Thank you so much for that!!!!

Kimmie's Kreation Celebration Challenge #5

Ik heb een drukke week gehad en heb de hele week niet kunnen stempelen. Vandaag ben ik daarom vroeg opgestaan, ik had namelijk op de blog van Kimmie hele leuke challenges zien staan. De opdracht was om een kaart te maken waarbij je de kleding van je stempel uit papier knipt. Vanmorgen heb ik deze kaart gemaakt en ik hoop dat ik vanavond ook nog tijd heb om te stempelen! Nu eerst naar de slagwerkdag in Emmen!

I've had a busy week and I haven't stamped this week at all. So I stood up early today because I saw such a nice challenges on Kimmie's blog that I had to stamp today! The challenge was paper-piecing! This morning I made this card and I hope I can stamp this afternoon also. Right now I have to go to a 'drum-day'!

Ismaki no. 5

Vandaag heb ik steeds de site van Ismaki Challenges ziten vernieuwen omdat ik graag wilde weten wat de nieuwe challenge zou zijn. Het is een sketch gemaakt door Beatrix zij is een van de leden van het Design Team van Magnolia!

Ik ben er meteen mee begonnen. Ik heb de kaart een oude 'look' gegeven.

Today I kept refreshing the site of Ismaki Challenges because I wanted to know what the new challenge would be. It is a sketch made by Beatrix she is a DT member of Magnolia!

I started right away. I gave the card an 'old look'.

Baby Card no. 2

My sister made this card with MY new Magnolia stamp ;) She wanted to try the challenge of Tilda & Co also. And because she doesn't have a blog of her own, she asked me to put it on mine. It is just in time, you have to send it for 2 pm, UK time and I don't know if they live an hour earlier or an hour further then we Dutch people do. So I stood up early (hahaha) to take a picture of this gorgeous card. I think the stamp did it! (LOL)

Birthday Card

Yesterday evening I made this card. It was too dark to make a picture, do you also have that problem? Taking a picture with a flash (?) makes the card too bright. And taking one without it is making the picture too dark. So I decided to make one this morning.
The card is made with K&Company paper, my mother bought it for me! And with one of my new Tilda's ofcourse!!!

New Magnolia stamps!

This week I ordered with my mother and sister, some new Magnolia stamps. We all three like stamping very much. Sometimes we have a stamping-day together, that's always a lot of fun!
I received the stamps today and of course I had to try them immediately! After a while my sister joined me and we made some nice cards.
