It's beautiful winterweather the last couple of weeks. I've been iceskating a lot. Saturday I've skated a tour of 15 kilometers on the Zwartemeer in Zwartsluis, sunday 10 kilometers on the Zuidlaardermeer and today 10 kilometer on the Rietplas by Emmen.

I am finally (and I mean finally!!) getting over this chest/flu thing; I have been sick with it since early December and it has been a long frustrating affair!! I'm still taking an inhaler for the cough - it is still lingering! Then I'm off to hospital next week for an ultrasound scan to see what the other problem is!! Thats if it isn't cancelled - our hospitals have been diverting emergencies and putting out public announcements this past few days as they are struggling to cope!! SO I guess a lot of people have been hit hard with this!!
