Babycard

I made this babycard for a colleague who gave birth to a son. It's my second babycard (for a boy) in two weeks. Unfortunately I forgot to make a picture from the first card... It was made with the same papers from Basic Grey 'Olivia' as this card.
I've used the sketch from Dutch Card Lovers. I thought it would be an easy one but I really struggled with the sizes of the squares. Finally it turned out well. I would also enter this card into the BasicGrey Challenges which is 'anything goes'.
I've stamped the name with an unknown clearstampset bought years ago at 'Kruidvat' (for the Dutch readers). The blue papers are from DCWV.

Birthday cards

Here I am again! I've had a cardmakingbreak for almost two months. I was so busy and I couldn't get myself to make any cards. Just didn't feel inspiration anymore.

But here are the cards that I made yesterday and today. In September I have to get started in a new class again and so I made these birthdaycards for the kids. I 'only' had to make 16 of them because I will get a very small class but it still is a lot of work :)


I don't know why but I can't make the photo bigger on my blog... I would love to enter this card to the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog. Their challenge this week is 'food & drink'.

Glitz & Glam

Here is today's card made with the sketch from Sketch Saturday. It's for my friend who turns 30 in a few weeks. She gives a party called 'Glitz & Glam' so I thought this would be a perfect card for her birthday!
The papers are from Basic Grey 'Ambrosia'. I've pulled the ribbon out of the eyelets a bit to give it a rich look. Some Shine Gloss on the eyeglasses and rhinestones to give it some Glitz.

Graduate

Every year on the third Saturday of June we celebrate our Family-day. The whole family from my mom's side is comming together today and we will have a day of fun. What we are going to do exactly is still a secret but I will soon find out :) The weather forecast isn't very positive but I hope we won't get VERY much rain... :(

But on with today's card for Sketch Saturday. I've made a graduation card for a colleague who graduated, she's a real teacher now :)
I've used the papers from My Mind's Eye. I've added lots of rhinestones to give it some extra body. I've sticked the sentiment with some foam on the card to give it the right wave-effect. And also the sentiment stays this way even in the mail.

Friends Forever

A bit late but here is my card for Sketch Saturday. I used my new Whiff of Joy stamp called 'Friends Forever - Nora + Ben'. Aren't they a cute couple?
The colors are from the Whiff of Joy challenge. I've set the eyelets with my crop-a-dile, yes I bought one!!

Here I am again with a card made with the sketch from Sketch Saturday! Had to make it in a hurry but I like the way it turned out!

I would love to enter the challenge from Whiff of Joy too which is 'aqua, pink and cream'. I've punched the leaves out and added some pearls on it. The challenge from Simon Says Stamp challenge blog is 'sprakle and shine' so this card is perfect for that one too!

Sketch Saturday

It's saturday again and maybe you noticed that you've missed me last week. I'm very busy at work that I hardly find a moment to make a card. It almost feels like there is nothing else besides work and I can tell you, I don't like that feeling :)
This week there is some time to breeth again because we have a holiday. I went with my sisters to London for a few weeks and we had a great time! We've seen the musicals 'The Phantom of the Opera' and 'The Lion King'. Both were great! We also went to several musea and shopped a lot ;)

Now it's time to show you my card made for the Sketch Saturday challenge. We have a great sketch from Maya this week. The papers are from Basic Grey 'Hopscotch'. I've add some stickles on the numbers to make them come out a bit more.
